Artificial Intelligence Adoption Is Easy for Gigs, Start-Ups and Small Companies—But Not Mid-Sized and Large Enterprises

Abstract

AI, machine learning (ML) and generative AI (GenAI) platforms and tools provide an opportunity for smaller companies to solve business problems the same way large companies do—expect faster and cheaper. Gig workers, start-ups and small companies are in a strong position to exploit AI/ML/GenAI for competitive advantage—in many cases stronger positions than larger companies. C-suites in all-sized companies should be mindful of the opportunities and constraints around AI/ML/GenAI adoption.
